Núr is defined as an institution that promotes development in our country. Núr defines development as the dynamic and participatory process through which the fundamental needs of the human being and therefore of society are met. Núr University believes that education - formal, non-formal, and informal - is, without a doubt, the most effective way to forge the values, attitudes, behavior, and skills that will enable people to function effectively in a society. integrated world. Education is a continuous and creative process, the purpose of which is to develop the latent capacities in the reality of each human being and to coordinate their expression for the improvement and progress of society. Based on the aforementioned concepts, Núr structures all its academic proposals in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. It takes as its structural foundations its philosophical principles described in subsection C of this section in this document. This educational position aims to rethink the classic role of the University in society and the incorporation of essential elements usually ignored, such as the integral formation of the future professional, such as: the development of the spirit of service to the common good, the promotion of Culture of Peace as the basis for the development of peoples towards world citizenship. For this reason, Núr proposes a base structure for its curricular offerings that include subjects of development, service to the community, strengthening of moral leadership, in addition to the disciplinary subjects of each degree.
