Unmatched Athlete

Unmatched Athlete will be a Maryland-based non-profit that encourages youth who identify as LGBTQ+ to participate in sports and fitness. We will encourage our youth to explore their athletic creativity and become well-versed student athletes that excel beyond their time in school. Our hope is that every youth that participates in our organization becomes an instrumental member of the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. We are still getting started and will start by organizing weekend and seasonal games to create a safespace for our youth to play and have fun. As we grow, our seasonal calendar will feature tournaments, after-school fitness, and other social outings such as field trips, sporting events and alike. Our long-term goal is to fund stipends and scholarships for a path to college sports, especially for our LGBTQ+ black youth.
