Upes Fipi Student Chapter

The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry is an apex Society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector and acts as an industry interface with Government and regulatory authorities. It helps in resolution of issues and evolution of policies and regulations. It represents the industry on Government bodies, committees and task forces and has been submitting recommendations to the Government on behalf of the industry on various issues. UPES Student chapter of the FIPI Society was established on 24th September 2007. It divvy’s the areas of growth in the fields of exploration, drilling, production and processing, refining, pipeline, transportation, petrochemicals, natural gas, LNG, petroleum trade, economics, legal human resource development, marketing, research and development, information The chapter is the only of its kind as it holds the largest diversity in student membership. Students from all the three colleges of the university, namely College of Engineering Studies, College of Management & Economic Studies and the College of Legal Studies are an integral part of the chapter. Our Mission: Growth of Both. With the flourishing years of UPES FIPI Student Chapter, it has loomed with a goal to provide a platform to the student community for organizing events and lectures regularly as part of their curriculum activities to develop a good working knowledge of entire Hydrocarbon chain to expertise, experience, share and exchange of views.
