Uplift Literacy

Uplift Literacy is a Miami-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that believes literacy is the cornerstone to lifelong success. We partner with schools in underserved communities to empower children with the necessary literacy skills and resources to read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade, a milestone that is a significant indicator of a child’s future educational development. Uplift literacy provides free research-based interventions and tutoring to students in grades K-3 to cultivate every child’s full potential and ensure they are prepared for the transition from “learning to read to reading to learn.” In addition, our organization educates families on tools that can be used to support literacy development at home and also promotes a love for reading through our free book distribution.
