Our journey began in 2009, as The Hamels Foundation, with a deep commitment to building a sustainable school campus in one of the world's poorest nations, Malawi. Through our efforts, we have gained a deep understanding that education must extend far beyond the construction of school infrastructure to successfully improve outcomes and create lasting change. In a world where 98 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa lack access to schooling, we embrace a comprehensive approach to education, implementing life-skills programs, supporting teachers, and fostering local partnerships beyond the build.
