Upperworth Studios was founded by Directors Kristy Unger and Karen van Eeden in 2017 and offers sophisticated interior design and design direction within the high-end hospitality and residential sectors. Upperworth Studios works directly for hotel brands and property developers, owner-operator hoteliers and private home-owners, but also for larger architecture or interiors studios, project managers and others in the creative team. We are skilled at everything from concept design to the hard end of projects on site and can offer our specialisation at any point, including helping with documentation and getting projects over the line. Our designs respond to the vision and ambition of our clients, to a project’s architecture and setting and also to cultural contexts. Both Directors, each with a CV spanning almost 20 years of project leadership for major UK architectural design agencies covering schemes all around the world, are very well-versed in the demands of high-end luxury and all technical aspects of interior architecture.
