UpStage Australia is a not-for-profit performing arts organisation that delivers high-quality workshops, school incursions, and professional learning programs that inspire creativity, confidence, and connection in young people and educators. Founded by professional performing artists, we believe that every student — no matter where they live — deserves access to the transformative power of the performing arts. Our team of experienced tutors, drawn from Australia’s leading musicals and theatre companies, brings authentic industry experience into classrooms and communities. Since 2020, UpStage has reached more than students across New South Wales through programs in music theatre, acting, and dance. Our work spans from country towns to Western Sydney, strengthening creative learning in schools, building community confidence, and nurturing the next generation of performers and teachers. We partner with schools, councils, and organisations to: Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned performing arts workshops for students. Provide professional development for teachers to integrate drama, voice, and movement into the classroom. Build pathways for young artists through mentorship, orchestral programs, and performance opportunities. Foster inclusion, wellbeing, and community pride through shared creative experiences.
