Upstair puts an end to back pain for rescue workers and helps ambulance companies sustainably solve their staff shortages. Employees in ambulance transport have to deal with physical overload. This leads to stress, illness and even occupational disability. For the companies, this results in shortages of personnel, frequent rescheduling or even the cancellation of appointments. We are developing an electric transport chair that enables fast and safe patient transport from door-to-door. Narrow doors, different body shapes and even stairs are no longer a challenge. Where up to 6 people are needed today, patient transport with only one attendant is possible – with ease!
