Upstart Investments

Upstart Investments founded the Amcom Upstart accelerator program in 2015 which morphed into the Vocus Upstart program in 2016. The program provided 15 startups with seed capital and an extensive three-month mentoring program based on the Techstars playbook. We have continued to support WA’s startup ecosystem through mentoring, investing, advising, and championing early-stage technology companies. We have now invested in over 30 startups in the last 10 years and have learned many valuable lessons along the way. We have built a network of 100+ Angel investors though investment syndicates to fuel the growth of early stage startups and the startup ecosystem in Western Australia. You can co-invest with us on a deal-by-deal basis through our syndicates. There is no fee to join and no obligation to invest. These syndicates include the Curtin Angel Syndicate developed in partnership with Curtin University and the Plus Eight Syndicate developed in partnership with Spacecubed.
