As a Canadian non-profit, our mission is to enable youth historically marginalized by the educational system to see themselves as changemakers. We design innovative and culturally responsive learning programs that focus on identity, agency and belonging development. Our goal is for youth to own their future, contribute to society, and stay on positive paths along each stage of life’s journey. To achieve our mission, we design culturally responsive, accessible, interdisciplinary and hands-on learning experiences that enable our learners to explore who they are, reflect on the impact they want to make, and access the tools and resources needed to take action. These programs are subsidized and designed to be implemented in the classroom, as part of the school curriculum. The organization is now permanently closed, but all our free and open source educational resources continue to be used by educators across Canada. They can all be found at this link:
