In 2004 Upturn was established as a Social Enterprise limited by guarantee. Since then we have remained steadfast to our mission to improve the lives and the health and wellbeing of people from diverse groups and disadvantaged communities, helping them overcome barriers to social mobility. We never cease to be amazed, humbled and energised by the talent, tenacity, patience, and generosity of people who, given the chance, want to make a difference, to make things better. Upturn works in partnership with people from our communities, statutory and voluntary service providers, and private sector businesses to do just that. We are pleased to share our achievements and demonstrate, through good policy and practice, testimony and endorsement, the regenerative power and ingenuity of Social Enterprises.
