Upwey Primary School

We are very proud of our achievements and the high regard in which our school is held. Upwey Primary offers a range of excellent programs, with a strong emphasis on the core subjects of English and Mathematics. We also provide well developed and implemented programs covering the areas of The Arts, Health and Physical Education, Physical, Personal and Social Learning, Japanese, Science, Geography and History. Our students have access to ICT tools to support their learning, such as desktop computers, laptops and iPads. They express their creativity through lunch time clubs, cooking sessions, passion projects, video creation, class room. Many students also enjoy private music lessons and a gardening program. Perhaps most importantly, Upwey PS empowers students and encourages them to 'have a voice'. As a result, they are given both casual and formal opportunities to share this voice and their ideas with our School Community and wider audiences.
