From its inception the brand has focused on rediscovering traditional knitting and handcrafts through a modern eye. By deftly mixing machine and hand knitting, Urban Knit are redefining knitted accessories with a contemporary twist to create pieces that look and feel unique. We celebrate the craftsmanship of the hand-knitters in Turkey and Nepal, along with the time-honoured knitting traditions of the United Kingdom and Europe. Scouring the world to source the softest yarns, including Italian cashmeres, merino wool, cotton and silk, we pride ourselves on creating the highest quality knitted accessories that blend luxury, comfort and style. Our group of in-house designers share a keen interest in the production process, resulting in ranges infused with colour and in a diversity of textures, using different stitches and twisting yarns to create pieces with a distinctive look and feel. Each season our collections feature an eclectic array of knitted legwear and accessories for men and women, including socks, hats, gloves, scarves, slippers, slouch-socks and bed socks.
