Urban Mechanical Contracting Ltd. was established in 1967 and has been growing larger and stronger ever since. With all 250-500 employees driven by dedication to excellence, service, and integrity, we have worked as a team to become one of the largest premier private mechanical contractors in Eastern Canada. We utilize QuickPen and AutoBid Mechanical Software in our estimating department. With over 50 years of combined estimating experience, valued engineering alternatives through regular collaboration with key senior engineering, and long standing supplier and sub-trade relationships, we can ensure quality at a practical price. Our CAD department is equip with the latest ACAD based TSI Fabric, 3D Pipe BIM modeling and Material Analysis software. Using this vast amount of technology, we can guarantee the most efficient, logical, and cost effective solutions to any problem. Our long standing key general foreman and Project Managers are the foundation for which the company proposes to launch into the next phase of its growth. Working collaboratively with the General Contractors and other sub-trades, the General Forman and Project Manager work in unison to plan the details of the work, engage and coordinate the activities of field supervisors and day to day construction activities, CADD department coordination drawings, and shop fabrication, jurisdictional authority inspections; as well as creating and updating labour plans and scheduling tools, equipment and material requirements in coordination with the project details and staging to maintain high labour force efficiencies which allow Urban Mechanical to remain competitive in the industry.
