Valuing the rich heritage of her backgrounds, our founder and designer, Regina Bauman, wanted to create timeless leather bags that would simply fit the everyday lifestyles of women from all walks of life. With the encouragement and expertise of her husband, a third generation leather craftsman, Regina's vision not only for a collection of everyday life essentials, but also for a lifestyle brand with a unifying message, began to take shape. We believe that true, honest friendship resides at the core of our company’s values — a friendship that understands that another's beauty never detracts from our own. In our business, we share our personal stories and the things that we’ve been through. By being vulnerable, we’ve been able to connect to others and bring value to our audience. We believe that life is best experienced as a sweet juxtaposition of new and old, of hard and soft, of an adventure along a bustling urban street and a quiet morning filled with warm, Tennessee sunshine. It's the result of living our lives full of dreams and adventures with the foundation of our rich, timeless heritage. Each piece of leather that we use has a story of its own. Regina’s sister Ruby handcrafts each one of our bags from full grain leather that hasn't been sanded down or processed. Our leather, which is a byproduct of the food industry, is sourced from local, southern tanneries. Real leather has a way of growing on you and becoming a part of your life. As you carry it with you, it takes on the markings of your journey and becomes truly unique to you.
