Urban Tech Helsinki

City of Helsinki, Aalto University, University of Helsinki and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences collaborate to find clean and sustainable urban solutions. Each year, 15–20 startup companies are accepted for the free-of-charge programme, which includes an in-depth 8 week onboarding period and a tailored coaching up to 3 years. The aim is to find companies from all areas of sustainable urban technology, which include sustainable construction, the circular economy, waste management, clean energy and mobility, urban food production, and urban well-being. The selected companies will get support in not only business development, but also in testing and validating their idea together with the city of Helsinki.
