Urbangoddess Yoga

Awakening to the Goddess.within. UrbanGoddess Yoga is a way of life. It encompasses acting compassionately—especially toward one’s self, being devoted to and listening to Spirit, honoring the names of God and Goddess, purification, meditation, and hatha yoga (all of the physical positions that we call “yoga”). UrbanGoddess Yoga is a moving meditation that draws our body, mind, and spirit into a state of Oneness. The UrbanGoddess journey is one of self-awareness rather than information about yoga. Your yogic journey with me includes breathwork, Reiki (a nurturing form of hands-on healing), basic ayurvedic principles, and sometimes a reading from the Akashic Records (a mystical, higher perspective on one’s life). If your life is blocked or constricted in any area, it will be revealed through self-awareness during your yoga—what goes on in your everyday life can be revealed and healed on your yoga mat. And your body can become flexible, strong, purified and balanced along the way. UrbanGoddess Yoga is a unique synthesis of Kripalu yoga, Viniyoga, and Forrest yoga that gives students an opportunity to tune in to themselves on the very deepest levels and release—on the yoga mat—that which causes challenges in daily life.
