Founded in 1948 by the late Dr. Harold Urist, Ph.D.(Chemistry), the company has built a strong reputation over more than seven decades as a trusted private label partner for skin and hair care brands across the globe. For over 40 years, Dr. Urist’s son, Robert Urist, guided the business through its second generation. Robert joined the company full-time in 1978 after earning a degree in biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.
