Regrettably, as Urpla began its commercialising, our founder faced serious and complex health issues. While the Urpla team continued to push forward with scaling, our founder's health continued to deteriorate over 18 months and ultimately we were unable to continue. After more than 10 years in development, including 4 years of testing and refinement, Urpla was assisting Councils across Australia and New Zealand implement the solution, as well as commencing discussions with other OECD nations for platform expansion and scaling. Founded with the vision for democratising and transforming town planning governance of cities with innovative technologies, Urpla was a software and innovation company that specialised in Digital Town Planning technology solutions for Local & State Government, community, and industry. Urpla's technologies were designed and developed by specialists, experienced in all facets of town planning, specifically to transform - through digitisation and data-driven automation - existing town planning methods and requirements.
