USF Volleyball | Big East Conference | NCAA Division I USF is a member of the Big East Conference, the largest Division I conference in the country. It consists of 15 reputable, both academic and athletic, programs. The Big East is part of a conference realignment that will take place in 2013. Academically, USF is a nationally competitive institution and recognized as one of the top Research Institutions in America! We are truly fortunate to have one of the best Athletic Districts in the country. The Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Training Facility houses strength and conditioning, academic enrichment services, sports medicine and administrative offices. In the last year, USF was part of the largest facility improvement project in the country! Five new athletic facilities were completed in 2011 including: baseball and softball complex, soccer stadium, basketball training facility, football practice facility, and dining hall/training table for athletes, which is located adjacent to our gym. Three more facilities will be completed in 2012 - the Sun Dome Arena renovations, the men’s and women’s golf complex/clubhouse, and the “Corral,” home of USF women’s volleyball.
