Usn Argentum

USN Argentum is an innovative, student-driven robotics organization at USN Campus Kongsberg. Consisting of motivated students from engineering and business, we focus on developing autonomous robotics for search and rescue operations in environments too hazardous or inaccessible for human personnel. Our mission is to save lives by going BEYOND HUMAN REACH. Our Story We started as the winning team of a competition hosted by the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) and Kongsberg Gruppen. To win, we had to pitch and defend a complete project proposal covering everything from engineering and economics to our organizational structure. Today, Argentum has grown into a dynamic team of highly motivated students from both engineering and business backgrounds. This summer, eight of our team members have been granted the opportunity to work full-time with Argentum through the Kongsberg Gruppen Summer Internship program. With this dedicated full-time focus and continued industry backing, we are accelerating the development of our primary prototype and building a great foundation for our journey toward RoboCup Rescue 2027. The Goal To compete in Robocup Rescue 2027. We want to put our robot to the test against the best teams in the world, prove what our student team can build, and bring those ideas back to help real search and rescue operations in Norway.
