We are a Center for research, development and dissemination of innovative solutions for urban management in Brazil. Our goal is to become a reference group engaging public management, applied research, and the private sector, addressing the main challenges of Brazilian cities. A permanent Forum for the dialogue between technicians, city managers and academics, connected with the urban issue, the Center is set as a foundation for high level independent research and seeks to be part of the public debate, translating academic knowledge into innovative urban solutions. Drawing from the academic skills in related issues found at USP, the Center will be responsible for building an international network of universities, NGOs and multilateral institutions, promoting the exchange of information, experience and knowledge.
