Uthaan” which means upliftment is a Non-Government Organization that has been actively working in areas of Environment management, Ecological Conservation and Sustainability like Vermiculture, Organic Cultivation, Herbal Planting, Animal Welfare, Green Movement, Conservation of Non-Renewable sources of energy, Women welfare, empowering disable and other socio-environmental dimensions of the society. Vision: Uthaan’svision is to educate the masses about the critical need for environmental conservation and animal welfare. The strength of Uthaan is a robust volunteer database of over volunteers, ranging from experts from Environmental and sustainability industry, corporates with their CSR support, corporate employees, individuals, schools, colleges, homemakers etc. and support of MCG/Forest department leaders that have been instrumental in making the projects undertaken by Uthaan in last 16 years a success.
