UTICO builds, operates and maintains financed WATER and ENERGY utilities. Utico's decentralized WATER solutions bring affordable water security to the market through potable water production and effluent purification/sanitation. Our flagship product, modular membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems are scalable, allowing treatment capacity to grow as developments grow and it opens up a wide range of re-use opportunities, especially when coupled with tertiary treatments such as Reverse Osmosis. Our MBR's are unmatched in its approach to environmental responsibility. Utico's ENERGY offering includes project development, financing and project management, primarily in grid tied and hybrid Photo Voltaic systems with battery or micro-hydro backup systems in the range 20 - 500 kW. Utico's systems are field proven in Africa and often operated by Utico's personnel. This helps us understand the intricate challenges of decentralized wastewater plant design that aims to ensure continued operation for many years by eliminating the root cause of all past problems and aid in fast and easy maintenance in the event of breakdowns.
