The latter is the healthy way. The former leads to additional and long-lasting problems in the psychological, social and sometimes mental and physical well-being of the victim. When we open a platform for free expression without judging nor stigmatizing, we offer an outlet for the journey to heal to be sought and to begin in truth. Our truth, and how we handled our pain to not only survive, but thrive with the healing that followed; our trauma growth is what gives them motivation to fight on knowing others succeeded against the incapacitating trauma pain and its effects.
