Uwc Short Course Doing Good

The UWC Short Course: Doing Good - the FIRST summer program of its kind in Vietnam, aiming to inspire and equip high school students with the tools to Do Good in the real world! In collaboration with Outward Bound Vietnam and drawing inspiration from the prestigious Harvard Graduate School of Education’s ‘The Good Project’, this 2.5-week adventure brings together an outstanding group of high school students to the south central coast of Vietnam, Bình Định, to answer the question: “What is good work and how do we do it?” The camp helps students explore and define “Good Work” using 3 main tenets: Excellence, Ethics, and Engagement. Students will engage in critical thinking, personal reflection, and develop skills such as design thinking and problem-solving. During the time in beautiful Bình Định, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to interact with local organizations, cultural groups, and social entrepreneurs. By the end of the course, you'll not only have the tools to initiate positive change in your own community but also a newfound sense of empowerment and purpose. Aligned with the objectives of the UWC movement, joining a UWC Short Course means immersing yourself in transformative experience-based learning, engaging in thoughtful discussions on pressing global issues, and forming lifelong friendships with peers from around the world.
