This is a 3D interactive encyclopedia that is accessible online. The aim of this project is to encompass the whole field of cabinetmaking/woodwork through clear and summarized contents via an interactive 3D interface. uWood was first imagined as a tool to facilitate student learning, and support teachers. It is thus mainly addressed to professional schools, guilds, as well as companies for their trainees and future staff. This project can be seen as a reference manual that could be used as a common database. This interface is accessible for all and will allow the user to discover or re-discover this ancestral craft.
