WHO WE ARE Vacuum Studio is an interior design practice based in Hong Kong and Bristol, England. Sophia Yeung Washford is the Founder and the Creative Director of Vacuum Studio, a boutique interior design firm that draws inspiration from global travels, film, architecture, art and design with endless research into both the past and present to weave together our ideas and enthusiasm. We opened our Hong Kong studio in 2001 with passion for creating environment that have a unique and individual personality. Over the years, our teams have built up a depth and diversity of experience, designing six main sectors: Resorts, Homes, Restaurants, Beauty, Lifestyle and the Experiential. In 2021, we celebrated 20 years of exclusively applied creativity expending our journey from our studio in Hong Kong to the opening of another in Bristol, England.
