Vaicacao
We believe cacao and chocolate should be traceable, like coffee or wine, so we indicate on our product labels which farm the cacao came from. We choose cacao grown on sustainable family farms like ours in El Salvador, where Juan Rafael is from, and also select cacao grown on other Earth-friendly small farms throughout Central America, where we built meaningful relationships with other growers while working on projects across the region. After the cacao is harvested, fermented, and dried at origin, we transform it into healthful crunchy cacao nibs, rich ceremonial cacao, and artisanal bean-to-bar chocolate, at our small craft chocolate manufactory in Sardinia, Italy, where Elisa is from. Our cacao paste and specialty chocolates are minimally-processed, as well as dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and free of other additives, to help you be free to live a conscious and healthy lifestyle!
