Validation Estimating's mission is to help owner companies improve the performance of their capital asset and project management systems through improved Cost Engineering, Asset Management and Project Control processes and practices. Risk Management is an increasingly critical element of these practice areas. We believe that good performance requires good work processes (i.e, Total Cost Management) supported by the right resources, methods and tools. Our services, from cost engineering and project control process and organizational development, through tailored methods and tools development, implementation and training reflect this belief. Since its founding in 2005, VE has helped scores of major companies in the process industries improve their processes, practices, methods and tools, and organization. Through training and mentoring we have also helped many individuals improve their skills, knowledge and competency. VE's owner, John K. Hollmann PE CCP CEP DRMP also believes in helping improve the Cost Engineering profession through active participation in the technical, education and certification efforts of AACE International (the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) including being the editor/lead author of its technical foundation text, the Total Cost Management Framework.
