Valley Fibercom

Valley FiberCom is the newly formed division of Valley Communications to provide service in the town of Volga, SD and the surrounding communities of Arlington, De Smet, and Lake Preston along the Highway 14 corridor. Our local customer service offices are located at 209 Kasan Ave in Volga, and 209 Calumet Ave in De Smet. Valley Communications’ headquarters office is based in Herreid, SD and is owned by the parent company, Valley Telecommunications Cooperative Association, Inc. As with any utility, having the most capable and reliable infrastructure provides more value to the community and its residents. Connecting Volga and surrounding communities with fiber brings big benefits. Having the option for this much network capacity attracts businesses that require large amounts of bandwidth for their operations. This may be the same case for residential customers. Customers continually need additional bandwidth in their homes – whether it’s for entertainment purposes or a work-from-home scenario, fiber provides increased reliability.
