Valued Cultures

Following publication of our well-received 2024 video games industry report, “Winning Game Studio Culture in the Post-Pandemic Era,” Valued Cultures is once again testing hypotheses and isolating insights about the relationships between culture, creativity, and commercial success. Now we are focusing on how two urgent trends are impacting game studio culture and performance: 1) leadership decisions about return-to-office, hybrid, or remote work and 2) the impact of Artificial Intelligence, specifically on game development and the games industry generally. We are seeking to grow our respondent group beyond the 125 North American game leaders we engaged in our first report. We want you to join our community of game industry leaders. The Ask-Complete a brief on-line survey (~15 minutes)-Participate in a 1-1 interview (~50 minutes) All data to be kept confidential; report findings to be synthesized and anonymized. The Outcome: As before, our report will yield valuable game industry insights, especially helping studios tackle the challenges of optimizing creative-commercial efforts in a challenging industry environment.
