Vancouver Startups

Vancouver Startups is a community of startup founders who meet in close, tight-knit groups to get solutions for real-time, on-ground problems faced while starting up. Because we meet in small groups, our founders get a safe space to express themselves and find targeted, tangible and precise solutions to their specific business problems. In the process, they build meaningful 1:1 connections which go beyond the community and stay with them, potentially for life. Currently, we run two types of spaces - 1. Deep Dive: every month on a Thursday evening, we invite a business expert (or two!) for a Q&A session. No panels, no speeches. As the audience, you can start asking Qs from the word 'go'. The session is curated and hosts 12-15 attendees + an expert, with a comprehensive networking session at the end. This means, you get to do 3 things - 1) ask the Q that's troubling you, 2) offer insights and potentially solve others' Qs and 3) get to know everyone thoroughly. Solutions Studios: Some challenges need a more focused approach. Our expert this time meets only 3 invited founders and deep dives into their challenge in a ~20 mins, 1:1 consultation session. The table then opens for discussion once the 1:1s are done. Through this, we aim to help founders achieve some clarity, direction and hopefully, the exact solution, with which they can plug existing gaps and move ahead.
