About After 30 years of working and researching in the exciting Photonics Landscape, Marinus decided to set its compass to an own company, excelling in the field of Photonics. After working for 10 years at the TNO Institute of Applied Physics, Marinus headed Baas Research & Development since 1988 as Technical Director. He founded and trained an excellent team of motivated researchers and developers, resulting in a broad range of innovative photonic products and solutions for telecommunications and sensor technology. He served that company till recently. From now on, VanderHoekPhotonics’ expertise will be available to empower a broad range of Photonic Innovations, Research Programs, Training and Education. Mission Statement VanderHoekPhotonics’ mission is to serve its customers in industry, scientific institutes and the educational community with a sound knowledge, a practical approach and innovative ideas in the field of photonics.
