Vanguard Parking & General Services Corporation is New England's only African-American owned, inner-city-based parking management organization. We provide parking management, fleet vehicle cleaning, janitorial services, and parking related security. We also offer general management consulting services, including workforce development training to businesses, industries and other organizational systems. We have managed, developed, and implemented the parking and revenue control system for the following businesses: • Logan International Airport • The State Transportation Building Parking Garage in 1986 • Northeastern University Parking Garage in 1987 • The West Village Parking Garage • The State-of the-Art Parking Garage at Renaissance Park in • Gainsborough (formerly the Uptown Garage) Parking Garage in 2001 • Crosstown Parking Garage in 2007 Rooted in Customer Care and Personal Experience Vanguard Parking and General Services Corporation has more than 24 years of experience with a great reputation for training innovation, reliability, and excellent service. The company was founded in 1986 by current CEO Ernest E. Washington, Jr. a lifelong resident of Boston who earned a Bachelor in Science Degree in Management from Bentley College and Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University. A United States Marine Corps combat veteran Washington considers his service in Vietnam a continuing source of positive energy in his daily life and work.
