Varazdin Folk Dance Ensemble

The ensemble was grounded in 1998 with a basic task to protect, save and present Croatian traditional culture, folk dances, songs, music and costumes. The ensemble has a big number of members that work in two sections - dancers and musicians, under the lead of the ensemble's art director Pjerino Hrvaćanin. The programme of the ensemble is various and flexible, and consists of dance performances, folklore choreographies, music appearances and folklore singing. Every year the ensemble produces a big number of performances and concerts, as in our hometown Varazdin and in Croatia, so in the countries around Europe. The ensemble has traveled throughout Europe, representing Croatian culture, participating at festivals, winning awards, but also winning the hearts of audiences and making friends.
