Vari, a Laos-based startup, was founded in 2020 by dedicated individuals who noticed a need in their community for clean, affordable, and ecologically friendly drinking water solutions. Motivated by their own terrible experiences One had lost a loved one due to contaminated drinking water, another was tired of the pricey and environmentally damaging plastic bottles, and the third sought to elevate local products to compete with imports. The founder pushed for innovation by developing new products such as refillable bottles, electric small truck deliveries, and refill stations. Despite hurdles, they have made a significant difference in their customers' lives by reducing plastic waste and increasing access to clean water.
