Variant Office is a London-based practice founded by Daniel Fitzpatrick & Ashvin de Vos. With roots in spatial design, we bring together many years’ experience in architecture, design, planning and construction to secure the success of a wide variety of projects. Collectively, our focus lies with the production of highly crafted experiences, objects, buildings and spaces. Our versatility, varied experience and desire to experiment motivates and enables us to tackle a diverse range of projects across sectors and scales. The ethos of Variant Office is rooted in design research, user-centricity and a commitment to exploring the ability of space to transform lives and experiences through a keen awareness for sustainability, careful engagement with both the client’s requirements and sensitivity to the site. We aspire to go beyond our clients’ expectations by providing innovative and sustainable solutions that are both delightful and spatially inspiring. We are excited about the discovery of new materials and innovative ways of arranging them; we also work closely with artists and artisans to provide a fascinating and highly crafted product. We believe the process is as important as the product; we strive towards a satisfying and inspiring working environment both as an office and together with our clients.
