We are Varmers, a Bangkok based collaboration between different cultures where Dutch technology and Thai ingenuity are combined. Together, we are trying to change the Thai food landscape for the better. Our goal is to replace most of the Thai grocery departments with affordable locally grown organic pesticide-free environmental friendly fresh leafy greens, soft fruits, herbs and micro greens of superior quality 24/7 all year round. To do this, we have created our own technological approach and modular construction system: The Controlled Environment Agriculture Technology (CEAT) controls the temperature and regulates the light and gases in an indoor environment. Our own modular construction system allows us to build and maintain new vertical farms every few months.
