Vasant is a center for Cardiovascular Risk Management (CVRM) and Research. The focus of the center is on hypertension and hypertension related illnesses. Vasant offers it's expertise to health care professionals to enhance CVRM to a level that is in accordance with the current guidelines of the ESC/ESH. Based on thorough investigations, an appropriate risk assessment and treatment advice will be given. Health care professionals can also refer patients to Vasant for treatment of hypertension. For the risk assessment, Vasant applies cutting edge technologies approved by the ESC/ESH for CVRM in addition to traditional methods. Vasant is associated with the vascular section of the department of internal medicine at the Erasmus Medical Center (Rotterdam) for discussion of diagnostics and treatment.
