Unlocking the mechanisms behind diabetes progression from an engineering perspective. We are a highly diverse and collaborative group of scientists and academics centered in the Greater Chicago area. We are interested in studying the biomechanical influence on the function of the islet of Langerhans in healthy and diseased models.
