What is vBridge? vBridge Social ( vBridge) is an online platform that will be used to connect volunteers and organizations by matching volunteer interests with organizational events and opportunities in their community. We see the volunteers and non-profits are often taken for granted and do not get their due recognition despite the most selfless work they carry out for the society. Our vision is to amplify their voice and increase their impact on society through simple, secure, and convenient volunteering matching. Our mission is to advance our vision, that is to increase the impact of volunteers and non-profits in society. • Platform Level: provide a state-of-the-art volunteer matching platform used by hundreds of thousands of volunteers and non-profits across Canada. • Volunteer Level: To make volunteering extremely easy and convenient. • Non-profits/organization Level: To help them be efficient and increase their impact & streamline their workflow of volunteering management and onboarding. • Company Level: To become the go-to place for all volunteering needs in Canada. In short, Our goal at vBridge is to be the “Uber” for volunteering in Canada. How does vBridge Platform work? The vBridge platform will work as follows: • Volunteers download the ‘Volunteer Mobile App’ for free, create profile and discover volunteering organization to work. • Volunteering Organizations download the Mobile app or sign on to vBridge’s web portal, create organization profile, and discover volunteers who are seeking to work. • The Platform, which comprises of Mobile App(s) and Web portal, offers 34+ broad categories that classify volunteering scope of work such as Animal Welfare, Seniors, Community, Health, Environment, Children & Youth and Art & Culture etc.
