Our Journey… This is a second initiative under the Vedant Foundation, a CSR unit of Vedant Educational Services, Rajkot. Under our social welfare activity, we have been able to provide a six month long Training on Spoken English to girls at various Campuses in the region of Saurashtra. Now, considering it our mission to directly intervene in the root problems of the society, we have initiated I’m Ready campaign in every secondary schools of Jamnagar from October 3, 2019, in the first phase and trained 500+ girls on Menstrual Health Management. If you meet them, each of them would say, “I’m Ready for the Periods!” We believe that any good cause should scale up. The number of girls in schools of Gujarat who are undergoing menstrual age is a total of 1.6 million approx. and we want to provide this training workshop to all of them, yes, all of them! Why not? Who can join? As a part of the awareness, we believe that each one of us has a significant role in spreading a word about menstrual hygiene management and by that build a wise society. Thus, we hereby call for public support and partnership to the individuals, organizations and independent groups who share our vision of promising health and dignity to the daughters of Gujarat. Let’s join hands in bringing out a revolution and be the first state in the country with 100% girls being aware of the science of periods!
