Valorise Extensive quantities of HemIcellulosic and Cellulosic sugars from Lignocellulosic biomass into high-value End products (VEHICLE) is a Bio Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. The industry consortium aims to widen the business and market opportunities of existing and future biorefineries by demonstrating the valorization of their low value sugar streams through several downstream options. VEHICLE project is coordinated by Avantium (NED) and joining them in the consortium are Ecohelix (SWE), Kemira (FIN), BETA Technological Centre (ESP), MetGen (FIN), Novamont (ITA), Graanul Invest (EST) and Spinverse (FIN)
