Velissario

Velissario Football Club (A.O.V.) is a non profit amateur football club based in Ioannina, Greece. Originally established in 1979, Football Club Velissario or A.O.V. achieved to win all local amateur championships as well as to participate in Greek 3rd Division and Greek Cup between 1992 & 1996. Velissario was one of the first clubs in Ioannina which run Youth Academies back in 1985. It is estimated that approximately players have played for Velissario or its Youth Academies over the 30+ years of the club's existence. Velissario has won the local champion twice over the last 3 years (2012-13 and 2014-15) as well as the Super Cup of Epirus Football Union (2015). Currenlty is leading the local championship and targets to achieve promoting to Nation level over play off games
