Velum Labs Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian based Cyber Intelligence and security company working with a team of Malaysian and internationally recognized experts and partners to deliver ‘organic’ and world leading solutions. The core of our success has been our commitment to genuinely support ‘local’ content and legacy programs, with an understanding that capacity building and transfer of knowledge remains key to true cyber resilience. At Velum Labs, our experts and researchers have spent their careers in former government, Law Enforcement or industry roles, providing a unique perspective of cyber threats and requisite Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Our research has led to some of the markets most high-profile insights and active disruption against global Active (Cyber) Persistent Threats (APTs). This perspective also supports our conclusion that to build true national resilience, countries must have the tools and skills required towards their national related threats in real time and not solely reliant on third party resolutions. In Malaysia, Velum Labs has demonstrated the value and outputs of enhancing local content capability, including language and cultural considerations, which we believe sets the platform of wider regional initiatives.
