About: Velvety Couture was founded in 2009 by two sisters Fatima and Latifa Al Shammari. Their ambition to make a special imprint in the world of fashion was behind establishing Velvety. The brand has grown over the years to distinguish itself as a brand that combines authenticity with modernity. The growth has followed by having a production house and opening two branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In addition to that, the collection has been displayed in luxurious multidesigner stores. The brand is made to tell a story behind every collection released. Whereby each collection translates a unique theme, and where each design is made to elegantly complements those who wear the piece. Vision: To be one of the most famous luxury fashion brands from the Arabian Gulf to all over the world Mission: To create high value designs that appeal to local and global markets with an artistic yet elegant touch, combining both delicacy and originality, and appealing to the admirers of divine pieces. Our designs: 0ur designs unique in terms of fabrics, colours mix and cuts that brings together the authentic middle eastern kaftan with the modern dress. We are working on designing some of our own fabrics that keep pace with international fashion trends. What distinguishes our designs is that it is possible for women to wear them on various occasions, such as attending festive gatherings or wedding occasions, “Velvety is where simplicity and luxury meet.”
