Ventora Medical is a Melbourne-based medical device company with a mission to empower clinicians through innovation. Ventora develops user-focussed products that allow clinicians to make more informed clinical decisions and provide better care. Ventora’s first product is a neonatal airway pressure monitor which aims to provide accurate and continuous monitoring of the delivered airway pressure for neonatal patients on non-invasive respiratory support. By enabling clinicians to provide proactive and tailored respiratory treatment, Ventora’s device aims to reduce failure rates, decrease length of time on respiratory support, improve patient outcomes and reduce cost of care. Ventora has won multiple awards from organisations including the Melbourne Business School, the Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship, the Graeme Clark Institute and the Medtech Actuator, and has raised approximately $3 million across equity-based and non-dilutive funding sources. The Ventora team comprises biomedical engineers, clinical and business experts from a diverse range of backgrounds, who are committed to setting a new standard of neonatal respiratory care.
