Vera Bogota

Founded in 2017 in Bogotá, Vera is a menswear-oriented clothing brand handcrafted in Colombia and Turkey. The name of “Vera” is inspired by the name of its founder’s family, which has been traditionally producing the best quality leather in Colombia for more than five decades through three generations. Motivated with the family culture and experience to own a tannery, the latest generation members of the “Ruiz Vera” family have initiated their genetic vision for urging a relaxed and authentic approach to design leather jackets for men. The result is an aesthetic, peppered with some attitude and creation of the menswear articles that are not aligned to any one trend. Driven by its success in leather jacket design, Vera decided to challenge itself in creating incredibly comfortable, sustainable, and functional clothes and accessories for men made from sustainable, organic cotton and vegetable leather. Vera is inspired by people who are seeking a stylish and comprehensive wardrobe that blurs the boundaries between both casual and chic.
