Verdenergia Pacifica

VerdEnergia Pacifica is a regenerative ecovillage, permaculture farm, and agroforestry project in Puriscal, Costa Rica dedicated to restoring degraded land, advancing sustainable living practices, and offering immersive educational experiences. Founded in 2006, VerdEnergia has helped transform previously cleared cattle land into thriving food forests and reforested ecosystems, integrated permaculture principles into daily practice, and developed a living laboratory where people from around the world learn about ecological restoration and community-based land stewardship. The project supports hands-on learning through permaculture design courses, internships, farm stays, and workshops — blending practical ecological education with real-world regenerative systems. VerdEnergia also hosts intentional gatherings, retreats, and site-based events that welcome visitors and groups seeking experiential immersion in sustainable living, ecological restoration, and community building. We share periodic updates, program opportunities, and insights into our ongoing work in agroforestry, rewilding, and regenerative community practice.
